EMERGENCY NEED HELP regarding racoon butterfly

i fed my fish in the morning and accidently didnt turn on the power heads in the aquarium, but there were oxygen bubles running by the battery operated air pump, now my racoon butterfly is tumbling around the aquarium or lying behind one of the power heads not swimming ..... any suggestions what to do...... we have put a whole lot many air stones all over the aquariums and even the power heads are working ....... what should i do

i mean i even have a long finned bat in the aquarium which is perfectly fine

Hi sofiahkhan,

Why would you ever turn off your powerheads? This is just asking for trouble.

Turning them back, point them to the surface to aid in gas exchanges on and adding the stones should hopefully help.

i would keep the lights off too

How is the fish today? Tumbling sounds like brain damage, not much you can do. You have a batfish in a 60 gal tank?

yup the batfish is small..... loves the tank had a great/ funny relationship with the butterfly......

As for the butterfly it passed away last night
cudnt stop crying till 4 am


i turned off the power heads by mistake.... actually the main switch is what i turn off....so dat the water can drain through the overflow to the sump..... because otherwise the food keeps passing through it b4 the fish have even started..... i felt like shooting myself for being such an idiot.......
