Equipment for New Tank Setup

That is correct. The wiring of the Powermodule is with two plugs (2-channel). One channel is for six bulbs and the other one for two.

Ok this is simple then

One plug wiring goes into ballast connection 1 on the EVG and the other goes into Bllast connection 2, then you can control the light groups by the two channels of the profiLux such as L1L2.

Ok, but then I don't know where the other wires 1&2 and 5&6 from the previous picture plug into. If required at all?

1,2 5,6 are you line voltage in to the ballasts.

The list on the junction box tells you exactly what everything is.

Please note my info is only based on what you are showing me I am not there to trace the cabling back for you. But it looks like the 1,2 5,6 are the supply line to the ballasts. This is then not required as you will be connecting the brown blue and earths to the EVG card to obtain switchable supply

1,2 goes to ballast supply 1 and 5,6 to ballast supply 2 along with the green earths.

Thank you very much for the information. Very helpful!

I believe that I have figured it out. The confusion was regarding the x2 power plugs which came with the unit. I wasn't sure where to plug both of them into the EVG component. It turns out that I only require the use of x1 power plug.

The extra green/yellow wire is plugged into the power supply for Ballast 1 PE connection since that ballast runs x6 tubes.

Here is a diagram of how it is connected.

I will take a picture of it soon and post it for those who are in a similar situation.

Next is to install the software on the computer and read up about programing. I wont trial the dimming function yet until the lights are hung and run for at least 100hours.

Thanks once again

Andrew
