Steps away from a full set up

Steps away from a full set up

Well this evening the DHL guy came to the door and dropped this off:
120w LED fixture, 30 white 2W and 25 blue 2W for a total of 55 X2 Watt LED (if you do the math that comes out to 110w so I dont know where they get the other 10w from)

 well I really like the look of the light and I think its gonna go well with my 90. I didnt order the second one because If I didnt like it would of minimized the hit on the wallet. Well I love the look so I ordered the second one. For the time being I am going to hang it over the 56gal to see how it looks there (more to come on that tommorrow). The camera doesnt pick up the LED colors well so if any of you wanna come take a look first hand, you are more than welcome to stop by my place.

yet another update:

Well I have the next pieces to the puzzle, A Tunze nano wavebox and a 6055 pump (with another 6055 pump on the way). My second LED should be here no later than two weeks.

I tested the wavebox in the tub and i found it very easy to find the resonant frequency of the wave

I also bought some corals that I just couldnt pass up. I should of waited but I couldn't.

We got water! today Pedro and I did a full wet test run on the tank and thank god it all worked out. The tank is silent with the doors closed. with the doors open all you hear is the faint trickling from the ATS and a low hum from the return pump. we also played with the nano Wavebox a bit and got some nice waves going. we didnt tune it to perfection but it still worked nicely.

I would like to thank Andy, Pedro, Jay, and Steffen for helping me put this tank together. With out the help of these members I would still be in the begining stages of the build.

sweet sweet build. And thank Andy since he helped the most today, i made it late. anyways yeah really nice setup, i really like it. even a tad jealous. Simple and very well thought out. i know ill be doing something with a sump if i ever get a new tank. haha.
