Eskimo or Typhoon III?

I think I'm going to buy an RO unit today from airwaterice.com. I would have never found this website if it wasn't for you guys so thanks a lot. I'm overly impressed with the lifetime warranties on EVERYTHING, but the actual filters. That is amazing.

Anyway, I live in northern IL and the water seems very cold most of the year. So I guess I should get their Eskimo model for cold water than, but it says it mainly works well for water up to 68 degrees. I'm sure our water is below that most of the time but I was just wondering how it would perform over 68. Has anybody here bought their Eskimo model? And it doesn't look like it comes with the handheld TDS meter or psi guage like the Typhoon?
I actually like the Typhoon config. better and the extra stuff with it for the same price. I'd rather get that. But then I discovered this other model for cold water temps and I might be better off getting that. What does everybody think?
Thanks. Scott

I'm using the T3, I got about 25 gallons in 10 hours, and there is snow on the ground here. It gets cold.

for what its worth,

Daniel

Thanks Dan. That would be much more than I would need on a daily basis. I think the Typhoon would be ok for me. Anybody else.

I am very happy with my typhoon 3 as well. Give Bob a call. He can answer every question and give you an honest answer even if it means less sale for him. They convinced me not to get a pump to aid my PSI.

I agree, great customer service! They have repeatedly offered me help and advice, even if it means less money for them.

I mean, they are the same price. The only concern I have is in the summer, if the water is warmer than 68 or whatever they mention. What would happen to the membrane?
