ESL issues

I thought I would never say this but ESL sucks today!!!!!
There I said it. I mean it.

After 9 years of being able to figure ESL out, it's got me stumped.
I got in last week and setup a program on a gen 3 upgrade.
Made 4-5 different changes everything worked well.

The gen 3 is gone now.

So in an attempt to get ready to setup a new tank profile with 3 brand new gen 4's I thought I'd experiment with a older gen 4 and modify it's schedule.

Plugged the light in and fired up the connection manager and logged in.
That's when the problems started.
First I tried to delete the old gen 3 and it's program.
Nothing seemed to respond.
Clicking on "Devices" and the gen 3 showed up, but it was grayed out.
I messed around for a while and then said screw it and just deleted my account. Old gen 3 and program are gone.
So I logged on with a new account, password, etc. and went to a new aquarium setup and try and click on the tab and it won't respond.
Pretty much nothing responds in ESL.
Tried deleting and reinstalling the connection manager.
Still nothing .
Updated java.
Still nothing.

Jesus this ****es me off.

Click on Devices next to the Menu tab and nothing but a blank screen in the device field.

I even tried a brand new gen 4 and ran into the same issues.
I couldn't get any of the setup, or device tabs to work in ESL.

But last week everything worked for me using a older ( 2011 ) gen 3 upgrade.

After a call to ETM and a conversation with Mike M. we figured out my issue. It was that god damn McAfee. Had a firewall and antivirus blocking the connection manager from detecting the plugged in Radion. As soon as I disabled McAfee the connected light appeared in ESL and I had control again. I remember Alex Y. telling me years ago to make sure programs like that weren't the issue.
