ESV B-ionic 4g users

Wanted to ask for users of the ESV B-ionic 4g bucket users, how are you mixing the alkalinity part after rehydrating?
I have a tough enough time just shaking and warming the 1 gallon jug to fully dissolve the mix.
Can you drop a small powerhead in the bucket or will that kill the powerhead or compromise the solution?
1 gallon is only lasting me 42 days currently so after I rehydrate a 4g bucket, will it be good for 160 days in your opinion?

A small powerhead will be fine. Heating the solution will help, if you are using the original formula. The low-pH version will convert to the high-pH version quickly if you heat it.

The 4g container should last 4 times as long if everything gets dissolved.
