If you think someone would be fit and you would like to see them run for office, please nominate them... I think it may be helpful to know who is willing to serve. I am willing to serve. I am thinking that I do not have the reef experience needed to be president, however. Thanks for the vote of confidence Randy, I think.

There are many times I'd defer to Chris and Dave if I wasn't confident enough to give advice on something... Think of it as a position of facilitating... Connecting the right people together...

I also agree with Eddie for President. Eddie...it's really not hard...mostly just listening to complaining and being sympathetic to everyone's concerns. I agree that having a consiglieri is a good idea as they can advise you on tough decisions.

Who else do I nominate? I don't know...I like Dave Sease for something.

I'm unwilling to serve unless we're in absolutely dire straights and no one else will. I'm more active in the club than last year, but I'm not really looking to serve (except food...can I be the designated food liaison?).

Here is a description of the treasurers job. Collect annual dues from members and make deposits. Keep a record of paid members. Also, write checks for club activities/bills - this is very minimal, just a few a year. There are various other duties, but these are the highlights.

One thing that is required is opening an account for the club. I created a separate account at my bank and ordered checks, etc.. I can continue to serve as treasurer if nominated.
