Hey guys, I am not sure if you will remember me, but some of you might.

I'm Mel from the East TN Reef Club and we're finally having a swap.

It's a slight haul for you guys but we make this sort of trek every year for swaps, so I thought you might want to as well. It's free.

Here's the flyer:

We're talking about it here (for now):

I'm sure the discussion will migrate to other threads as well, so here's a link to our forum if you want to check in now and again:

It's probably going to be a lot of fun, regardless of how long of a trip it is. I don't know if you know this, but the ETRC likes to have a really good time at reefing events. We're more of a close knit, eating/drinking club (though of course we have people who eat and don't drink, no biggie).

It's always a good time.

We're hoping that this swap is going to be a big success as well.

I can not make any promises BUT I believe there's going to be an extra large vat of cheese dip as well. hah hah. It's our claim to fame.

and......they like to drink beer too..

The rumors to that end may have turned out to be true...

I think you could do it in a day, but it's up to you and how much you want to drive in one day. We usually do the Nashville one in a day and that's 3 hours or so from us. This is around 3.5-4 h, I think, for you Blacksburg guys.

Knoxville is 3:45-4:15 from Roanoke depending on How you drive it!! Reminder that radar detectors are legal in TN!!! I think you could do it in 3 from the burg but again, you've gotta run it. It, makes for a long day to go there and back but....definately doable. Knoxville is a cool place. Might as well stay then go to the Zoo there. It's nice too.
