Was wondering what size of a tank these skimmers are rated for as I know they do not sell this particular model anymore I don't think...Cannot seem to find any info on them only the5-2...I am assuming they would be fine on a well stocked 90 but would like to hear from the experts here...Thanks in advance Dave..The skimmer is 24" with 9 x9 footprint I think

The 5-3 is rated under heavy bio-load at 90g. That should be just fine. And yes, that foot print is correct.

Keep in mind that other brands rate their skimmers much higher for a similar sized Euroreef. ASM probably rates a comprable skimmer for 180gals.

mine is on a 90 mixed with 40g sump, works like a champ, and even better with a diy gate valve modification.
