EVAPORATION= How much...

Courious as to how much evaporation takes place in your setup. Please list your Tank Size, and Total Water Volume and how often you Top Off your tank and how many gallons you use in a week. Thanks!

DT=120 TWV=193gal. I top off 2 1/2 times a week @ 25 gallons.:wavehand:

However, if your sump is covered that will greatly reduce your evap rate

I feel that(strictly my own opine) the more splashing that goes on in the sump from flow, causes mi-nute microbubles that pop in the air creating evap. Guess thats why some sumps have traces of saltcreep on the frames.

my sump is a 45 long and i have a 30g fuge. nither are filled to the top so im guessing about 30 in the sump and my DT is 120 minus the rock is probably hold 110g (i dont have much rock i like BIG caves.)
