Ever seen a Carpet anemone that thinks he's a snail?

I figured I would try here too.

I have no idea what he's up to. He has been on the move for days. I do know they are strong enough to creep under and lift 60lbs of rock, amazing. Now he worked his way into the corner of the tank, ran out of room and started to climb the wall. I have just been moving stuff out of his way hoping he finds his "happy place" soon.

I thought he was searching for better light, but made his way into the dimmest part of the tank.

Hadonis don't require as much light as some other anemones, so he may have been trying to get away from the lights if you have very strong lighting.

That's what I read before buying him. I made him a wonderful little spot he could call home in the tank.

He was under a slight overhang with pretty bright lighting right outside it. I figured the light went from shade to bight in a matter of inches so he could really just choose where he wanted to live.

He has constantly been on the move right now. My concern is he has moved to a side of the tank that has pretty deep sand and might not be able to find the bottom. The sand will be leveled, but I'm trying to control the flow from 4 streams righ now which has bee a challenge in itself.

Thanks for the reply, every little bit helps.

Maybe this is your problem. I know I'm just throwing things out there now, but my hadoni does not like alot of flow.

My haddoni is totally the opposite. It likes a lot of flow and parked itself directly under my 400w MH. I am guessing that Broke's anemone is not getting enough light and is moving up the tank to get closer.

I hope your right about the flow. I have two 6100s, two 6000s, 2 Koralia 4s and a Dart, so flow is up there. I have tried to let him go where he wants, but seems to like dimmer parts of the tank. The corner the pictures where taken at is probably the dimmest part of the tank.
