Everybody doing ok?

Doing great. No loss of power. The winds didn't seem as bad as predicted.

Creek behind my house got really moving. Impressive to see a little summer trickle go to a roaring freight train of water.

Power went out today for an hour. Turned on the generator and for some reason forgot I have two tanks! So each tank only had the return pump and a heater on.

Is the second one the one you've been hiding from the wife? :)

Since the storm I did a calculation on my systems and it will take 1116 watts to run heaters and pumps. This assumes the heaters will all be on all the time.

IMO, lights are not needed when the line power is off.

I agree lights are not necessary when primary power is out. Warmth and flow are priorities. If the outage were to last more than a couple of days, light might become more important.

Good job calculating your max load too. It is wise to assume heaters on all the time, even though that's not always the case.
