Nope - the Ebay skimmer was rated for 185 gallons and kept my tank water clean even though I did skim alittle wet... Then again it was an ebay knock off Bubble Magnus so it was probably around 100 gallon rating in reality but hey it worked awesome for a 1 year until the pump died I really would of never upgraded to the Vertex if the pump did not die!!! I will eventually buy another replacement pump for it and keep the skimmer as a back up ..
 
Hmm - I just check and yes the Vertex 130 is sold out but the 150 says sold out but it had the add to cart button now and I was able to add the skimmer to my cart even though the picture said sold out . So either they have more in stock / are getting more or the website is messed up. If I were you I would order it now and call them in the morning worst case scenario they refund you or even a rain check at the discounted price!!! Just saying its worth a shot!!

Yes - looks like it is only for the 150 not the 130. If you have the room for the 150 then I would get it and if you ever upgrade you'll have a great skimmer !!!
 
I wish I could. The 130 would be a tight fit as it is.
Let me know if you want to sell your Bubble Magnus knock-off :D:thumbsup:
 
Just a quick update on the Vertex Omega 130 Skimmer - I love it / worth every penny so far !!!

3 Days after skimmer is up and running in 8" of water / I have it now in 7.5" of water seems to be the sweet spot for the skimmer in my tank :


 
So it's been a while since my last update / really wish I had more time to update and track this tank but it's been hard between traveling for work and family life..

Just a small update to make my life a lot easier for traveling and monitoring the tank I upgraded from my RKL to a Full blown Apex and Love it!!! And after I set everything up - Port forwarding / Alarm notifications on the old Apex system "“ I get invited to the new Fusion. Which is still in Beta and mind blowing super easy to set up everything (Email and Text alerts)(wish I was invited earlier before I initially set up my Apex).
