Exchange?

Last month I bought an ampmaster 4700 pump for my new 280 gal, I got everything going yesterday (sump/fuge, tank) and the pump is much more powerful than I thought. I am using a valve to throttle the pump back but I have to cut it back to 50%, anyway I could exchange it for an Ampmaster 3000? Thanks, Jon

Hi Jon,

We apologize for the late reply. Unfortunately, we are not able to take back the pump as it is used. All the products we sell are new and unused; so the pump is not something we are able to resell to another customer.

If this is going to be a reef tank, the extra flow can actually come in quite handy later on, as many of the corals require quite a bit of flow. Otherwise, you can also redesign the plumbing a bit and have the pump power your protein skimmer and kill two birds with one stone.
