expelling waste?

quick question

today around 7pm pacific time it seems like my RTBA started to shrink and deflate seems like all of a sudden. it spewed some stuff junk out of its mouth. so i figure thats not a bad thing.....

so my question is it deflated down to each of the tips were size of a needle or so now its bulb'ier now but not like it was before...so how long does it usually take for the anemone to reinflate fully? (1.5hrs later)

now the tenticles still have alot of red in them so seems like its healthy and the foot is attached pretty firmly to the rock....

Sounds like normal expelling of waste.

so its normal for it to stay deflated for so long?

it expelled right before lights out if that helps

i have a green bta. it took me a while to get used to mine when it came to pooping. they just look so terrible, you think they are on the verge of death . i would only worry if it deflates and DOESN'T return to it's original size. you just have to be patient. i have seen mine deflated for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. i freak out, leave the room for a little bit, then return and it's back to it's original size.

I am new to anemones and have a condi that I had been freaking out about almost constantly the first few days. Yesterday was the first time I had seen him shrunken and green tinged with the lights on in the evening. I checked after lights out and he was still looking "bad". This means he was this way for 3-5 hours. I checked this morning before lights on and he's looking fine.

You're going to see some pretty wierd things thats for sure. I think everyone freaks out the first time they see their anemone poop or close up. I thought I'd share. Here is my gbta fully open.
