Expensive Dwarfs???

Hey Gang, I was looking at my nightly Divers Den e-mail and noticed they had a pair of dwarf seahorses for $129!! This took me by surprise because I didn't think dwarfs were that high!

My knowledge of seahorses is lacking but what makes these Caribbean dwarfs so expensive??

$130 for a pair of zots definitely seems high...then again, I suppose it all depends on how badly one wants them.

I often check out Diver's Den, and their prices are usually very high!. Even their discounted livestock is very pricey. I doubt there is anything special about their dwarf seahorses other than the exorbitant price tag.

I saw that same ad and have noticed Dwarfs poping up on LA for the last few months and they have alway been $130. I assume they eventually sell, because they eventually disappear off the site.

No, that price is ridiculous. lol Someone should email them, they may have made a mistake.

Edit: I see the sold at that price...wow.

HYPE! HYPE! HYPE! If they are Caribbean Dwarf Seahorse, then the person who bought them should ask to see CITES permit that came with them.

Even with unique patterns, you shouldn't be paying over the top prices for them. Patterns aren't fix, so it is a waste of money.

Well, someone bought them. So they must be doing something right. Most of us know one can get dwarves for well under $20 Captive bred. But clearly, some ignoremoose with a lot of money wanted tiny seahorses. And DD provided.
