Experience with JB-Weld WaterWeld?

I've found a couple of posts on the internet suggesting that JB-Weld WaterWeld is "as safe as" the AquaMend putty that I (and I believe others in the club) have used safely in the past.

Does anyone in our club have first-hand experience with this product (I couldn't find the AquaMend at Home Depot this time around... just the JBWeld brand)?

JB-Weld doesn't have the same consistency as aquamend, I used it a couple of time and hated it

as far as you know though, it is "safe"?

I really liked the aquamend, but couldn't find anywhere at HD when I went to look this time... do you know if they still carry it?

I have used it and it is reef safe. Others have also. I can Pm you a link that lists reef safe adhesives if you like. I haven't used the aquamend though to compare it.

I've been finding AquaMend on and off at the HD in Napa. Sometimes they have JB, sometimes AquaMend. I can look again and pick some up if anyone is interested.
