Experiences with Haddoni in High Flow Tanks?

They Got My Number
Anyone have a Haddoni in a high flow SPS dominated tank? I'm planning to put one in my upcoming 75g with 2 MP40s on the sides and possibly an MP10 on the back (already own the powerheads).

Toddrtex gave me some great advice about building a rock cove for the anemone to block some of the flow and I fully intend to do that. Does anyone have any experience with these animals in such a high flow tank though?

I have my red haddoni with my giganteas.
I build a rock cove as described above for the haddoni and it seem to do just fine. My tank is 30x24x20 with MP40 rocking at 80-90% reef crest mode. Too much flow all almost anything but the giganteas love the flow.
I keep mostly 2 giganteas and a haddoni in the tank.

Your saying everything but the gigs like the flow or dislike the flow?

I keep a haddoni and two large elegance corals (low flow critters too) in a tank with a monster gigantea, two mag's, and sps corals. In my system, it's all about the placement of flow. It's hard to get everything just right, but it can be done. Make no mistake about it though. If you put to much flow on a haddoni, it will take off. These animals are unbelievably strong, and will wreak havoc in your tank if they start moving. I doubt you have a rock they can not move.

I'm concerned with placement because all it is going to be is MP40s so the flow is extremely wide. I'm thinking the rock cove is the only place to put it.

Please list your tank size for refrence.

The dimensio s of the tank are important with two mp40s

The op is working witha 75

Mine has been is the same spot for a while now and about a month ago I got rid of my koralias and added a MP40. So far so good it hasn't moved from it's spot yet. The MP40 is on lagoon at about 80%. I will get a updated pic or maybe a short vid later today with the flow and the haddoni.

My tank is a 90 gallon so 4 inches taller than the 75.

Do you have a personal experience you could share?

i dont personally have a haddoni but a guy that has gotten frags from me has one and it moves and he has a hard time keeping corals because it stings them when it roams and it eats shrimp well he can have a sexy shrimp but thats about it and if you wanted a mandarin well its going to be the haddonis dinner just saying sps is expensive and there is a lot of time and dedication and money to get it growing for it to be stung by an aggressive anemone like a haddoni

I keep mostly SPS, so I'm not worried about coral on the sand. A mandarin would be nice in the future, but I would rather have the Haddoni.
