Exposed Magnets on the Magnet pump holder/attachment with 6025

The two Tunze magnets that hold the nanostream 6025 pump are not sealed with the resin stuff. I have similar magnets for the TUnze Osmolator and both sides of the two magnet holders are sealed, whereby the magnetic material is sealed off with resin preventing contact with saltwater.

But on the 6025's magnets are exposed. I am worried that the magnet will corrode in my tanks saltwater. Or is the material pretty much inert that even saltwater wont corrode it?

Please advise ASAP if this is ok. I just bought the pump brand new today.

Many thanks.

Roger and others: Sorry, I just searched google again and this time found an answer. It's ok to have the magnet exposed. I understand these are the same magnets found in all your pumps etc.

So no worries.

Yes, since February all pumps include these Ferrite magnet holders, ferrite is an inert ceramic magnet and will not corrode. Only the neodymium magnets need to be coated.
