Better get scraping before someone sends the corallline police over there and they confiscate that tank!

Nook is the crooked judge who will decide the verdict. Can you say guilty!:D

scraping, thats a big pain just did front and left side of 75 gallon and front only on 125 gallon, big pain in the arm makes me nervous since my foxface thinks he's getting algae strips and won't stay away from my arm.

Very cool tank, is all inhabitants in yet? or are there still some in the stock tank? For someone who has said they'd never get a Hippo she's looking pretty good in the tank.

Thanks guys as for the hippo tang I had some store credit burnning a hole in my pocket and Dawayne talked me into it. I still have some stuff in my grow out tank that I need to put in there.

Looks good john. Did you just change the way you had it aquascaped or did you take a lot of rock out?

We put in around 400 to 500 #s where before I had around 700-800 #s of rock in the main now I have the rest in the system.

Swimming room mainly, I have less room for corals so i need to get rid of a bunch of plain stuff or doubles I dont know why I need to slimers the size of basket balls.

That's a nice hippo tang as well. I just lost my little guy to a powerhead, for some reason he got stuck to the side, he was only the size of a quarter but he had been in the tank for 2 months. Oh well, gotta love the power of those tunzes though.

are those purple tangs pretty hardy fish, been thinking of getting one, and what kind is the tang is other orange one.

The purple I have had almost 5 years great fish seams very hardy to me the other tang is a mimic tang. Logiktest the cap is the same but we lowered the stand by about 5 inches. I like it lower much better. I also finised the stand and cap.

I would say the hippo was dead I have never lost a healthy fish to a power head. I have 2 tunze 6200's that are very strong.

The hippo was actually still alive when I took him off the power head. I hadn't seen him all day so when I started looking around I saw him stuck to the side. I pulled him off and put him in QT and he did swim for a bit but he was doomed. This is the same hippo that ended up in my sump like 3 or 4 times he was a trooper. I'm not sure anyone can survive thier insides being sucked out for a few hours though.
