Faded Acans

I am considering purchasing some Acans that have lost some of their color due to the owner accidentally letting the ALK go to high. They still look ok, but not as colorful as they once were. If I purchase them is it difficult to get them to color back up? What method do you recommend to help them regain their color?

i would just put them on the bottom, with proper parameters and some time they should color back up

+1 for color recovery given a reasonable chance (moderate light and flow, happy and stable water parameters). It may take a month or two, but eventually you should start to notice color gains and you could be bragging to your buds in 3 to 4 months.

They will color back up no problem. Buddy of mine had an acan completely bleached but came back in a month.
