Fail's SPS 14 Gallon Biocube

I dunno about that video, awful lot of stuff moving in the current which seems to indicate a serious flubber infestation - chuck a 400W Radium over that tank and i guarantee you that flubber will clear up very quickly...........:p
Have you tried those peppermint shrimp things mate for the aiptasia, no idea if they work myself though.

I tried literally everything. 3 different sets of peps. Chemical elixirs. Everything.

These guys are looking to be worth the money so far.

I think a 400 watt would be perfect. You put that right in the water for best results, right?

These Nudi's work VERY well for Aiptasia as long as there is enough Nudis and the Aiptasia are not just one or two located in distant corners of the tank. In the UK there is a company that breeds and sells them for this purpose.

No worries there. I gots a plenty. My worry was the wrasse, but in all honesty, I think he left them alone.

How's things going Fail? You've been quiet lately. Hope all is well. :)

All is well, buddy! Just prepping for the move this weekend.

I got the tax return but am holding off on ordering the camera till a week or two after we are settled.

I did decide on a camera finally. I'm going with a Canon 60D. I'll mess with that for a while and then probably start spending the money on camera stuff. Another addiction begins.

The tank is going well. Things are encrusting, and a few that I thought were meh are starting to take off. We will see if everything stays that way after the move.

I've been checking in on all my buddy's tanks. Just haven't had time to comment because of work.

I appreciate you checking in!

The Canon 60D is a VERY decent camera. I am looking to buy that one as well soon. My bro has a 6D and a 600D. I think the 60D is a nice inbetween spec.

If I had more money I could comfortably spend, the 6D would be my choice. Its a full frame and that is sweet because you would likely not get the itch to upgrade.

BUT, since I'm new to the whole DSLR thing, I think getting the better of the lower end is the right thing to do. Plus it saves me enough money to get another Reefkeeper and the T5s for the frag tank!

 60D is dope, but the 70D is mega dope, the 6D is ultra dope and the mark lll is ooltra mega sega genesis dope

Well, the move happened. It was long and arduous. I had a hell of a time and stressed myself out more than the fish and corals.

I don't know how guys with larger tanks do it.

Here's a pic from when the tank was brand new.

And here's where it's at now...

GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE!
My lights for the frag tank are in. And they are in Spanish.

Now all I need is another ReefKeeper Lite and a heater. Oh, and I need to build the stand.

Bert and Ernie...

And the best fish in all the world... Pepito!

Please excuse the "taken and immediately posted" pics. I'm still getting the hang of this camera thing. :headwally:

I need WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY more lenses...

Good stuff! Looks like the move went off without too many problems :)

Got your cam too I see, time to get crazy with pics lol.

Thanks, Bello! I'm trying to get crazy with it, but there is little learning curve. I've been watching every photography video available and it's still going over my head. Once I build a new computer I should be able to get an editing program and mess with that.

I need a macro lens in the worst way.
