Fairy Wrasse and Anthias

I am currently cycling a 180. I am trying to nail down fish I would like to keep. I will be transferring a clown, bubble tip anenome and a couple of softies from my 58. I will also start SPS..

Questions:
Will Fairy Wrasse and Anthias get along?
Can I get multiple types of the same species Fairy Wrasse and Anthias?

Kind of off the subject title. I want to add another clown. Should I introduce the new clown and the one I am transferring to the new tank at the same time?

Multiples of the same species of anthias, yes. Multiple males of same species, no, male female prs or harems, with caution. Multiple males of different species, yes.

With the clown, you can add it at any time, just make sure its a male or a juvie.

And to follow up, for Fairy Wrasses, you would be much better going off with single members from different species rather than trying to form a harem. More than likely females turn males, and multiple males of the same species does not usually work out.

Thanks Marshall.. I was actually going to come back and ask about the Fairy Wrasse. Just so I understand. If I we're to get one species, I could get say 3. But if I would like a variety of species go with one each...?

Depends on the individual species. In general, it is not advised as more often than not you will end up with multiple males, which may or may not work out. Which specific species do you have in mind?

What catches my eye... fine Spotted, red headed Solon, orange back, equisite looks nice as well. Again this is what is catching my eye. I certainly wouldn't get all of them....

Any or all of those would work. I would do the red head last, IME the red head is the most aggressive, not terribly so, but will be the dominant one of those wrasses.

Never had issues with wrasses and anthias together.

Also for the anthias group all females or one male and the rest females is the way to go.

How many females per male? My lfs still has one male but don't want to add too many fish to my system but also don't want to end up with just the one male?
