the past few weeks i have noticed that my laboutti is starting to get a rhomboid tail..i hope that he does i have only seen one with that before and that supermale looked sweet!!!

What do you mean by your Laboutti is getting a Rhomboid tail? Just curious is all as I have an awesome Laboutti Wrasse as well.

rhomboids have a diamond shaped tail (the only fairy to have a drastic diamond shape tail) Laboutei's have a round tail. I have never seen a laboutei have a diamond tail, and i've seen some 5" monsters. Most likely it will never get the true rhomboid tail :)

zemuron i guess i should say that it is not like a rhomboid fairy but most i have seen has a more rounded tail than mine..very nice deanos i am looking to get a new exqusite and that is the varient i ma looking for

very very nice large angles did you get those local or from online...i use to not like those very much but for some reason the past year they have really grown on me..hard to find though

yes they are after seeing one in person i was hooked since then...the one i saw was on hold someone had got it already but i do want one...when they display the color change on them is so so sweet

deanos - That's a beautiful exquisite wrasse. I was thinking of getting one. Is that a male? Will he retain that colour if there are no females?

I wonder if male fairy wrasses still lose their color when their in tanks with other males. I would think the agression between the males (relatively speaking since they're not really that agressive) that tends to lead to flashing would help maintain the colors. Or am I completely off base?

it is hard to tell if that is an exqusite or not..can you get a better pic of it??i see a purple line right under it's eye but hard to see the side of the fish..a better pic would help..it kinda looks like a finespotted but hard to tell

largeangels - where did you pick up the balteatus pair?

I get them from the marshalls but actually have a tough time selling them!!! Last male i had was about 4" and gorgeous! Be careful though, they tend to be more aggressive.
