One of my cooling fans failed so my backup fan is cooling my tank in the meantime so its time to get a new fan.

Vornados: How quiet are these fans. I can't find the decibel ratings on their website. Im interested in mid size ones since the smaller Vornados are 65 watts compared to 42 watts of the larger mid sized fans.

Computer fans: I was thinking of getting a pair or a treo of 120mm 80 CFM fans (32 decibels) but since I never had an 80 CFM fans I was wondering if thats plenty of air compared to a Vornado or like fans. Wattages matter alot to me so I was wondering if anyone took a amp reading off of those fans before.

I don't now the specific fans your using, but they put out a lot more air. Thay also use a whole lot more eletricity. Computer fans typicaly use something like .49 amps or 5.88 watts.

The 120mm computer fans are 5 watts (running on red/black in the computer) they move a lot more air than the 80 mm, and they turn the blades slower, the slower turn means a much more quiet fan.

60mm are loud, 80mm mid and 120mm are quiet, they all run of 5 watt DC circuit.
