Guess I have a Pacific Ocean Emperor angel. I see a small streamer starting to develop. [emoji3]

beautiful fish! any issues nipping the sps???? I have an opportunity to get an orange tail emperor and nervous about nipping.

Thanks Spotter! He thinks my ORA Hawkins Echinata is like his own personal dessert but otherwise, leaves most of my colonies alone. I think the key is luck, feeding a lot, and having enough colonies to spread the wealth if he decides to go tasting everything. Honestly though, besides the occasional snipped tips on the Echinata every couple of weeks, he pretty much leaves everything alone.

All my angels will occasionally nip at a polyp but I've never actually seen damage to the polyp as its out again in a few hours, besides the small tips that get eaten off the echinata by the emperor.

The bigger issue is how big they get! In just under two years, he went from a 3" juvi to an 8" behemoth! He's about as thick as 3 slices of bread and he's not done growing yet!
