About a year now. The red one died on me in about 4 months but the blue is going strong.

Are you doing anything special for it, or is it just surviving on whatever it gets in your tank?

Love your choice of fish in this set up. What are the measurements of the tank?

Just surviving on what it finds. I had low expectations of survival of either but the blue one has surprised me with its longevity. It is apparently finding something to sustain itself.

Thanks for the compliment. It's a 215-gallon, 72" x 24" x 29".

We need a close up of the bubble tip because it's incredible.

Ok so I seen it after I posted this so I edited it.

Bought some frags from him that sat in bags as I drove home maybe 36 hours as I drove home back to Kansas. All still alive and well. Been close to 2 months now. Great tank.

Really nice fish selection and corals on this tank, wouldn't mind having afew frags out of that frag tank either... are those bigger frags (mini colonies) pearlberry?

Thank you! Most of the acros in the frag tank have been sold off and I just have a few montis left. I'm not sure which acros you are looking at but I rarely make pearlberry frags as I'd like to have my colony grow out a bit more.

I'm about to frag some more corals in 2 weeks for a swap we're having May 1st so it'll be full once again!

OP

What calcium reactor are you using? I'm running 2 part and considering switching over. I seem to have a hard time staying balanced on 250gal total volume system.

Using a MTC Procal CaRX, they are based out of New Jersey.

I've used a Korallin, PM, Deltec, and to me, it's by far the best. Has a built-in secondary reaction chamber and flow meter as well as pressure gauge. Can be run off a line from your return pump and doesn't need a peristaltic pump to keep effluent steady.

Hey brother, good to see you on here, and showing your beautiful tank. I may have to make that May 1st swap date.
