Fattening up a mandarin.

Well, after waiting a week after I was told there was a delay in shipment from www.fishgobble.com I emailed the company after they told me they would ship my order the beginning of this week. It's tuesday and no shipment notification. I emailed them and asked what was the status of my order. They emailed me back later in the day and told me another delay would push my shipment day til at least friday. I told them I want a refund. I've yet to hear back from them.

The refrigerqator is to cold for white worms but you can keep black worms in there. I think you should build a baby brine shrimp feeder if you want to kjeep a mandarin in a relatively new tank. They eat thousands or pods and a sterile tank is not going to do it. It may live but may always be undernourished.

Thanks for the advice Paul. I ordered some white worms a few weeks ago.

They shipped this week. Hopefully I can keep them alive.

Thanks, Paul. I ordered some white worms from fishgobble last week and just received them today. Now to find a shoebox or Tupperware that the wife wont notice missing.

so, if the fridge is too cold, where do you keep the white worms?

very good info, just purchased a mandarin and he's on the skinny side, but for $10 i had to get him, now he needs a female. Which does the dance, male or female or both and how does it look?

My wife just made a Doctors appointment of me with a new doctor. She said the guy only is rated two stars. I asked her to find out if he had Supermodels for nurses.
You have to have priorities.

Man, so I received my white worms and made a nice home in some Tupperware with fresh soil, fed them and put them in my fish closet. The next day I go to feed my fish and discover the F'n ants swarmed the worms. So freaking pi$$ed!!! 15 bucks for some ant food!!!!:headwally: Time to call the exterminator...:mad2:

hey for you guys living in Cali.. where do you guys plan on keeping the worms? I'm having a hard time finding a cool place to store them. (considering a mini fridge at the warmest temperature).

Where I live its almost always 62-70. Im thinking in my fish stuff trunk. Should be no more than 73 degrees in there. Hope thats not too warm
