Got my first favia brain a month ago tonight I fed it brine shrimp the tentacles grabed it but it took well over 1 hour for it to eat it plus theres still 1 little shrimp still in the tentacles 2 hrs later...any reason why its taken this long for it to eat??? Also will this lps consume liquid foods???

That is a slower feeding response but I wouldn't be concerned unless it trends towards not eating over time. Also, it is quite possible for it to grab more than it can consume at once. They only have one opening in the polyp, so food goes in and undigested bits come out from the same place. Depending on the size of the food, they can need to poop out what they've already eaten before taking in more. IME, feeding smaller quantities works better than burying them in food and hoping they eat their way out.

I haven't tried feeding liquid foods. I don't think liquids would be consumed much. IMHO, LPS are adapted for capturing macroscopic particulate matter from the water more than straining, filtering or absorbing the water to feed.
