Favia Show Off Thread

Those are some really great ones, Joe! There were some pics of "Mint" Favia on here, but they may be 2 years old by now. All of those were keepers & then some!

Sincerely,
Matthew

Thanks Matt! Yeah, I started looking from page 1 from like 2.5 years ago. Found alot of nice ones that are now on my list.lol. but none with the same colors and pattern as my new one.

Joe,
Yeah, I sometimes forget just how long this thread has been around. I think its almost its 3 year Anniversary! LOL
But somewhere LONG LONG ago, we had quite a few mint green & blue ones. But it has been about that long since I've seen one. I have a mint centered Favites or Platygyra now in my tank. Not a Favia per se, but we decided to let Favids in general be on here. Does it count? I don't have a decent pic of it yet..

Yeah, I couldnt believe how big this thread is. I kept going back 40 and another 40 and so on... The 1st favia I posted has a spot with more green that is puffed out compared to the rest of the colony which is pink outside, blue ring and pink centers. There is some green around the edges of the polyps but mostly pink n blue. Im about to start my own thread with pics to get more views. I am very amazing with this piece and though others would be too. I think the colony will get even better since its still new.

Im sure you could post any favid here. I dont know brains that well. Mines a favia right?lol. I see people get them mixed up with micro minutas.

Oh, I know its Ok. Its that my photo skills aren't great & its been so long I cannot remember how to do it!

Matthew
I myself really love the mint colored ones. I'm always on the lookout for them or pics of them.

Looks like a pot of gold/babies breath to me. Very nice colony either way! Heres one more pic of my favorite, unknown baby blue and pink. keeps getting better...
