That is a Platygyra??!?! Holy orange blasters Batman! LOL
Most unusual Platy I've ever seen, colorwise. Whatever you do, hang on to that puppy!
Hopefully in 2-3 weeks I'll be shopping for some new corals. My 60 Gallon Reef debut today. JOY JOY! Room for more Favia/favids. And some softies.
What to get? What to get?

Matthew

Doca: I forgot the most relevant question here. Where did that BEAUTY come from?
Let's call it the Orange Crush Paty! LOL

Matthew

i really dont know hwere they got this beauty...im gonna ask them...

they like to call their discovered corals RS, but Orange Crush Paty sound glamourous...lol...gonna propose it...lol

when opened, its tentacles are red...ill be posting a pic later...

and just to be clear, no photoshot used in this pic...even auto adjust options neither...

Well, there are others of that one out there. That is exactly like the blue one I got a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it did not do well for me. Maybe it needed more light. Whatever, it bleached. It was barely alive when I boke down the old tank last week.
I hope I can find another frag of it next month.

Matthew

Eventually, my new tank will be ready for hard corals. Not yet, though.
Of course, Favids will be one thing I look for.
Other than that, because of certain fish, my current tank will be featuring (dis)tasteful softies (to fish!).
I'll keep everyone posted.

Matt
Ps.
Suggestions for what to do with old 36 gallon tank?

Green Moon Coral

Green Moon Coral

Hello, guys, This is my favia.
The other favia condition isn't great. Would you care to share some tips to improve my current condition. Favia size has been noticeably shrunk.<br>

I dunno about that Facebook one. Either its bleached, or there was too much flash or glare. I actually think it was the later, though..
Nice corals. I miss my Favia..

Matthew

its not bleaching its white and pink that cuts thru the eyes and red and green under actinic lighting ill take some more pics and post em
