No, it wasn't at CPC. That shot was taken off of 17 mile drive though, the exact location will remain confidential.

1 hour?? Are you thinking of Palyzoas? I've never heard of toxins dangerous to humans from any Favid. To other corals, that is another story. Lots of sweepers!

Yes, its a bona fide Favia. Classic looking one, at that, too.
I also believe its of a species I've owned before. That one changed colors from red to brown to purple, BTW.

I just wish that I could get my water right. Right now, only mushrooms and various algae (and my fish..) seem to like it.
I cannot get rid of the nitrates and phosphates, yet. WHY?????
Well, when I can, there should be some new additions.
