Thank you, it's actually much more metallic looking in person but I can't manage to capture that with my camera.

Here are some pics I just took that show the colors a little better on that second one, I actually picked it up at my LFS today, I probably shouldn't be spending money on coral right now but I just couldn't resist...

This coral is super sweet! and I mean super sweet!! also looks like it could color up a bit more with some purple/blue highlights WOW! prolly will do best under low light conditions depending on what type of lighting you have...take care of that baby and grow it out, looks like potential for future LE coral imho

Thanks a lot, right now I have it high in the tank under 65w PC lighting (good thing I'm not running the 250w MH over my 20H anymore). I am new to keeping favias so any advice you might have that might help me succeed would be greatly appreciated. The war coral look alike will take mysis but I haven't had luck with the other favias, do they eat?
I hope to get a decent prop tub setup running sometime in the next 6 months, hopefully this one will be a good grower and I can prop it.

121ddler, I love that reverse prism you got. I have one very similar, and its probably my fav favia in the tank. The contrasting colors is unbelievable. I posted a pic of mine earlier in this thread.
bucknellreefer, with favias like the green and yellow one that you just got, I like to start them off on smaller foods. You could try some brine...easier to accept at first than mysis for the smaller mouths. I generally use Rods food, and chop it to appropriate size for the corals Im feeding. Eventually it should be able to accept some larger items like mysis. FWIW I have never had a favia that didn't accept food (once its comforatable in its new tank that is).

I got this from kenny. Almost dead but came back to life and really looks nice
