We've reminded folks many time in many threads in this forum, as well as the sticky at the top of the forum. However, people still seem to forget despite those warnings, and in some cases more direct PM warnings. So once again, if you are commercial, do not post pictures of your corals. Doing so will result in banning without further warning, as there as already been plenty of warnings.

here's a piece that I got 3-4 months ago under regular tank lighting (MH and T5 and then under actinic alone. Its a mixed red and green Favia but I don't have a more specific ID of it.

That is a really pretty piece. I had one similar to that a couple of years ago, but it didn't live more than a few months in my tank. It was a water quality problem I had back then, and not the coral's fault.

Sorry about that Marc. These are so nice in the tank especially under Actinics it just shines up

maroun. c that is a really pretty piece. Color scheme is a lot like a Montastrea. Love the contrast under the different lighting.. If memory serves me right ( yeah, not likely) that looks like an F. speciosa to me. Someone is bound to differ & I did say memory! LOL

Seapug: Well, at least I know the name of one of my Favia now. Of course, just a trade name but I like it. I wish I could figure out this picture thing. Very nice contrast! Mine has the corrallite rims sorta purple the centers red ( of course). And the body green. Definitely the same coral!
maroun c: Let me know if that was a reasonably educated guess. LOL

Here are couple of shots of pieces I have in my tank.

This one has something living inside of it. It comes in and out every few seconds. Pretty funky, huh.

I found this guy behind a piece of rubble. It must have fallen off where I put it. It is currently white with green eyes. When is comes back (I hope) it will should be light green with darker green eyes. Only time will tell.

Not mine, but I am coloring it up for a friend. The piece was brown when he gave it to me. I have a magic tank, lol. I'm receiving payment for holding as a frag of the colony.
