Colony shot of the Aftermath.
coral_update_118_111.jpg

This is one of the hardiest corals I've owned, and the color get better everyday.

OMG how big is that thing? By far my favorite Favia!!! All though mine has much more green swirls then your's

It's probably about 6*7 inches.
The green is a lot more vibrant on the edges, and the eyes are tighter in the middle. This isn't the best pic, but it gives people an idea of what a colony looks like.

Thanks, I see you have quite a few very nice favia's yourself.

sps boy gets my vote for the favia colony of the month.. lol

I hope this is the right place to post this, but any suggestions on maintaining colors in favia pieces? I have a spiderweb piece that was originally bright red with green edges, but has since faded to a dull reddish-brown with few green highlights. I've tried feeding it, but I've never noticed any feeding/sweeper tentacles. It's in a 10g under 150w Phoenix 14k.

That thing is so fake, I bet it is posted on snopes.com  WOW! :eek2:

LOL, yeah, ive actually had people think that (seriously) and then when they saw it in person had to pick their jaw off the floor.

I cant believe its held its color. Had it for 3-4 months now....

Oddly enough, it had lost ALL the red and blue, and was literally skeleton other than the green mouths at one point. Then about a month later looked perfect again. I was certain it was going to lose it.

Miss a day & all heck breaks loose! LOL Beautiful, beautiful Favia everyone. Where could I even begin? This time I have run out of adjectives. That green one of Twinreef's really resembles an Acan... Junior are you for real? The colors are really intense on that composite colony?! Holy *beep*!!!!
Btw, I'm picking my jaw off the floor..
