Ian: heavenly shades of night are falling, its twilight time! LOL well if you make that an LE coral with a similar name!
SPStoner: Yeah, rub my nose in it. everyone has at least a frag of a Baby's breath these days. Sigh.. Except me.

I love corals and all but that Cutty in your avatar is SWEET! I have a 1970 Supreme myself. By far my favorite of the Muscle car era.

The Martian Moon is growing very fast right now and is bigger than the picture. I bought it from Fraggle reef a while back with a good 6 or 7 coralites.

Hi folks,

After a few week or so, the favia shows puffyness, but I see a faint whiting on some areas. Is my lighting too strong? But I have seen recovery as well on areas that were damaged.

I have 2 feet in depth, 150 DE HQI.

Everything else in tank is fine.

Thanks.

AndreKW: That is one really cool looking Favia. Sparkles almost like a diamond, or actually like an emerald! NIIICCCEEE..

Wind: Its just adjusting & also healing from any mechanical injuries it suffered before being placed in your tank.
I saw that with my red/purple one. I thought I was in for another loss due to Rapid Tissue Recession, but it looks fine now.
My Platy, on the other hand, vanished in under a week. I'm keeping my eye on a certain Angelfish!

Sheol,

Thanks for the assurance. Things are so hectic in life, I feel corals should be the least of my worries. lol But I hope it will color back up later. I believe over the course of the week, I've acclimated it well enough into my lightin.

I just noticed different colors since pulling it out of the plastic bag. So I was a tad worried. Hopefully it will be fine. I've kept the levels all in check, everything is growing so I hope the indicators are good.

Thing is, the center use to have 'green', but now it hasn't really shown it -_-. But I'll keep an eye. It's great that it has puffy when lights on and recession when lights off, much similar to the candy cane.

Thanks.

Wind:

That seems to be a Favid trait, color changes when conditions change. I wouldn't be overly concerned. So far my Favia have proven quite hardy

Sincerely,
Matthew
