I'm looking to expand my library and do some reading as I prep for a new reef tank. I'm trying to get a hold of the Sprung/Delbeek Reef Aquarium series, but can anyone else recommend some good literature? I have Borneman's Aquarium Corals and Fenner's CMA, but hopefully I can get some input on any other books that you've found invaluable over the years.

BTW, for this tank I'm planning on softies/LPS, if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

The 2 books that I have are for indentifying fishes and inverts called Marine Fishes and Marine Invertebrates.... they give you a breakdown of the type of lighting, water flow, difficulty level etc. Oh and great pictures. It has saved me lots of money in impulse buys.

As far as books on aquarium upkeep I like the Saltwater Aquariums for Dummies, book. It breaks it down to fully understand the basics and I referenced it a lot when I got back into this hobby.

I have Tullocks' Natural Reef Aquariums, along with Bornemans' Coral Book, Calfo & Fenner's Reef Invertebrates, Scott Michaels' Marine Fishes and Shimek's Marine Invertebrates.

Thanks for the info. Any recommendations on books that provide advice for plumbing reef tanks and setting up systems?

Thanks!
