feather caulerpa jungle

Hi everyone,
Well I came back from Thailand to discover a forest of feather caulerpa in my main tank. I'm not sure how I even got feather caulerpa, but it has just gone nuts. Does anyone happen to know of any critters (non-tang) that might like to eat it? My tank is only 50 gallons, and already has 4 fish. It will really be pushing the bioload to add another fish. I was considering a dwarf angel for this purpose, but think they really only eat single celled algae. If anyone has any tips, they would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Darcy

Only fish I know (non-tang) that would be almost a sure bet to chomp on it is a foxface rabbit fish, unfortunately they can get pretty big (although you can buy some really small ones). Problem unless the fish stays in the tank it will eventually grow back.

Scribbled rabbit will eat it too. I believe an urchin might, but he'd more likely gnaw the roots off and let it float into your downflow teeth until it jams.

wah! :( this is very bad.
I've had tangs that loved feather caulerpa, but there is no room, not even for a temporary baby one. rabbit fish do get large, and very quickly too.
i might just have to remove the rocks altogether if possible.
thanks guys.

if its already taken hold of your display it is going to be a challenge to remove it... only method that i know will eradicate it for sure is burning the rock w/ a mini torch. the stuff won't come back. its not a popular method but its effective. of course, you would have to cure your LR again... fish, urchins only seem to help it spread because they don't eat all the pieces which end up floating and attaching elsewhere

yeah i get a mini cycle but those tanks were macro dominated and the spikes caused my nice macro to grow more. i wouldn't do it in any other type of situation.
