Feather Duster vs Skunk Cleaner

I was wondering how prone skunk cleaner shrimp in particular are to picking at, eating, and killing feather dusters. I recently added a feather duster to a 16 bow and within a few hours my skunk cleaner shrimp had taken quite an interest in it and seemed to be tearing away pieces of it rather than cleaning it, as his action looked far more agressive. i seperated the two and was wondering if he was actually eating it or simply cleaning it. I guess if he was eating it i'll be taking the feather duster back.

Make sure your skunk cleaner just has more to eat than just picking at other fish. You could actually train him to eat of your hand so that he would lose intrest in the feater dusters.
