Feather Dusters in Trouble

It's been a while since I've been on the forum. We moved to a new home and of course setting up the tanks wasn't a priority. Anyway, I've had my SW cycling for nearly a year with a Black Molly and recently started stocking the tank. I put 2 feather dusters in last week and they seemed fine until about 3 days ago. They no longer open and could even be dead. How can I check if they're still alive and what can I do to help them along?

try puttign in some liquid food if u have any or try feeding something which will cause a sent to be disperced into the water. this should trigger them to open for feeding, if they do not open at all they could be dead. But i would leave them in there for a while to see if they are still alive (if water quilty isnt an issue).

If possible gently poke the tube the worm resides in and see if you feel a jerk, then you know its alive. If no reaction then consider it deceased.
