Feeding a carpet Nem

I have two Haddoni carpets. I feed them either silversides or krill, depending on what I have in my freezer -- right now it is krill.

I thaw the frozen krill in a cup of water, then take a few of them and place them right on the oral disc of the anemones. Figure I give 5-6 pieces about every two weeks or so.

Hey Todd, I just got a white and green stripe carpet 6"
What size did you get yours at and how big are they now?
I seen in your pics that you had one..

;) thanks

I can't remember about my yellow/green one, since I have had it so long (( 7+ years )) but its size right now is holding steady over the last couple of years --- I don't feed it all that often.

As for my blue one, it has grown quite a bit. Here is a shot when I had just got it (( the tank had just been redone too, that is why it looks too clean ))

If I really wanted to, I could accelerate their growth by feeding more, but like to have them grow slowly -- so won't over take my tank. But, with the blue one I fed heavily at first, and it really took off.

Thanks PayasoDelMar. I ended up moving it to my other tank, and in the process I damaged it -- riped the oral disc. It has made a full recovery but is a little smaller now.

Here is a shot from over the weekend -- my pink skunks love it. This is just the female.
