My clown Lori has fully recovered and now she's constantly hungry. I gave her a seaweed to chew on between feedings but she will follow me wherever I go...heck, she will even nibble at my finger. I was wondering, could I feed her some bread crumbs to tame all this hunger? Has somebody tried or is this a no no?

Im not sure about the bread crumbs.. but i started feeding my clowns only with a turkey baster. (defrost food in cup then use turkey baster)
so when they see me, they just carry on what they were doing... but when they see the turkey baster they get all excited and stuff

MM, u mean live brine shrimp or frozen? Ur fish must be big enough to eat frozen foods, I grind frozen foods for Lori.
I just did a 25% WC(its been 2 weeks) and inserted a carbon, when I noticed black particles all over my tank, particularly on the bottom and on the surfaces -- I realized that it's a magnet which suddenly started disentegrating!!! OO How hazardous do u thing these metal particles would be for my fish, I will do another WC tomorrow, since the integration started right after this WC(i had this magnet to weight down one of the plastic pipes...i had it in there for these past 2 weeks and didnt notice anything)

i do notice when i rinse my carbon prior to use the water turns really dark with carbon dust and a good amount of particulate. you might want to do a wc just to be on the safe side. and next time rinse before you use. .OH YEAH......and always rinse with water from your tank. DO NOT RINSE WITH TAP WATER.

just between me and you ( and everyone else on this thread )
i dont have overflows, or an r.o unit either! canister filter, remora skimmer and ro/di from the lfs. thats another thread but back to the subject, all u need to do is when doing a water change, save some of the water you took out from your tank and put in a bucket and swish your bag of carbon in there for a few seconds and your ready to go! i assume your using a canister filter of some type right? i would recommend using water from your tank or ro/di water to rinse your sponges just so the bacteria doesnt get disturbed. tap water usually contains metals which does us no harm but could be fatal to your tank inhabitants.
