Feeding GSPs

I picked up some GSPs about a month ago and want them to quickly overtake a couple of dome shaped pieces of LR. I was wondering what I may be able to feed them to grow more rapidly (I know they typically grow fast but if I could help speed up the process that would be great).

I'm in the process of planning a 29 gal. with a 4-5" DSB and want a couple of mounds of the GSP on the sand bed along with one large piece of LR. Thinking about a contemporary Jawfish habitat...

i've noticed my gsp have stopped growing, but i also noticed my nitrates are around 150-180 which is worse than most toilets i'd think

Light = GSP food. Give them good conditions, lots of light and current, and you'll be stunned at how fast these guys can multiply. I have a huge colony sitting almost directly below a 400W MH bulb, about 6"-8" below the water surface. I swear I can hear them growing.
