Feeding my Gem and Black with friends in my 300g

Thanks! Yes they are quite aggressive feeders, the two little fishies magnet clip is the only one strong enough to withstand the assault!

The tank is illuminated with 6 Radion Pro gen 2's and 3 kessil a360w's controlled by my apex.

I have a purple, a powder blue and a yellow in my frag system that are waiting to be added at some point as well. They were removed to allow the Gem to get established. Now the gem has grown faster and larger in the past year than the other two tangs and I am getting ready to reintroduce them.

Very nice. I'd love to get a Gem but (other than the entry fee) am concerned that my existing Tang population would reduce it to shreds. Mine hit the clip just like that, awesome!

On a side note, I've kept aquariums for quite some time and spent several years in the professional side of the business. I've had the pleasure of spending some amount of time taking care of just about every tang species we keep. That being said, I think the Gem tang is probably the most aggressive I have ever kept, at least mine is. If the other tangs weren't larger, there would be problems.

That's interesting. Hadn't heard that Gem's were particularly aggressive. BTW, here's my crew going at the clip.

Video quality is a bit rough .....
