Feeding SPS

What and how much do you feed your tanks? I recently tried and failed some SPS. I dont think I feed enough, worried Ill have a nitrate spike or something. I just got a killer deal on a superman monti, fosters blue tenius, ORA red planet, tricolor milli, tyree green slimer, purple pocillopora, and 2 bonus. SPS experts, what should I feed them?

I use cyclopeeze mosty but also use a coral food mix that I can remember the name of.

I just feed my fish, my lobo and the corals filter feed.

I suspect you lost SPS due to water quality/lighting, not feeding.

I feed amino acid, rods coral food, fish poo and lots of light. I alway feed a quarter the amount, first wait 15 minutes for PE, and feed the rest. I feed alot. but use heavy skimming, macro algea, a enormous clean up crew, LR and LS to combat unwanted levels. I have a buddy who's tank is 5ppm on nitrates and his staghorn grows 25% faster than me with less light. Sometimes you have to do what works for you... CHEERS

SPS can live with light alone. Keep them alive using light only and then move to feeding.

actually I should have said just run a slightly higher nutrient rich tank. That means fish, ect that keep bio load pushed.

I just feed the fish a home made mixture of store bought frozen stuff (mysis, brine, squid, salt water multi pack and cyclopees). I will feed the tank just the cyclopees once in a while. I let the water flow feed the corals. And fish poop.

do you guys think a mix of lobster eggs and plankton would be a good combination for SPS ?
