Female Clown

My female clown is getting a little more aggresive toward my other fish when they get near her area. Is she starting to nest? She is fed very well and eats like a pig, so it's hard to tell if she is prego because her belly is always big. she is about two years old and three inches

I THINK THAT SHE IS JUST SETTING HER BOUNDRIES IN THE TANK AND LETTING EVERY ONE KNOW WHO IS THE BOSS.

About a week ago, I had my first set of eggs from my mated percs. I actually noticed the male becoming far more aggressive once the eggs were laid and their 'boundaries' grew. Now that the eggs are gone, things have pretty much returned to normal, however, I think the female is prego again, so the cycle begins. If you see she is really fat high up (toward the gills) before you feed them 1st meal of the day, odds are shes with eggs. GL!

In my experience, in my tank when i use to scrub algae in my tank there was a certain area that i could not scrub because they would attack the crap out of my hand. As time progressed the area kind of grew. Seems they develop more of a territory as time progresses
