Fellow Reefers,

The time has come to pull the plug with my current set-up. With a new baby in the house and another on the way, I need to make room and clear my schedule, as I will be busy. I will begin with what I have for livestock in my current set-up:

* Frogspawn aproxinately 20 plus heads= $4/head
*Small devils hand leather coral=FREE
*Two small-med prurple encrusting gorgians=make me an offer
*Kenya Tree-small=FREE

*Two Marroon Clowns=make me an offer
*Blue Damsel+FREE
*2 Striped Damsels+FREE

I have some dry rock and live rock that will also be for sale.

After the above livestock is gone, I want my set-up gone. I would like to sell the set-up together, but will part out if neccesary. Some items for sale will include tank (back painted black and drilled for return and overflow), canopy, stand, sump, skimmer, chiller, return pump, chiller pump, ATO w/resevoir, Tunze powerheads (very used). Over the weekend I will take a few pictures and compile a full list of equipment and prices that I would like to sell.

Thanks

AJ

Bumpity bump.....I still have to get a list, but want my livestock gone. Frogspawn.....make a reasonable offer!!,

If my tank weren't still cycling I'd take the clowns and the frogspawn, but I estimate I have at least a week left. Great deals!

1) Wish you were closer... I'd love those gorgs.
2) I dropped out but came back with a simpler setup, I have a 3 year old and a 2-month old right now. You can do it, but consider how to simplify. I couldn't constantly dose and test anymore, so I'm not doing heavy SPS now I'm just doing water changes on a smaller tank and it's working great.

I went to a 29. Easier to maintain. They say bigger tanks are easier, but I found that not to be true. Dragging around multiple gallons of water and huge topoffs was a mess and I couldn't automated it easily. I don't have a fish room, everything was in a tiny cabnet in the stand an my RO/DI is in the garage. So I now have a 29, which is really about 20-25 gallons of water with a bunch of rock and sand. I have a clean water 5 gallon bucket and a dirty water 5 gallon bucket. Once a week I swap a bucket, quick and easy.

Thanks for the response...if you make me an offer on the clowns and frogspawn, I can wait for your tank to be ready. I am not in a huge rush but want to get the tank down. Be aware the clowns are in separate tanks and dont play well together. If you take one I would be fine with that.

Don't pull the pin...im managing it with the two kids. It can be done

Jeff,

Thanks for the encouragement. I am sure that I will be back eventually. I am sure that I will get the itch to start again, hopfully when I have a bigger place and more cash flow.

I work in Palatine in the evenings, possbily you could meet prior to me starting work. If not, thanks for your interest:)

Exactly what I have. Very easy to maintain.

Would love the gorgs but am broke anyhow... I went to the swap and drained my reef budget so I won't be buying anything for a while no matter the price, and too empty of a tank to have anything to trade. I need to keep my mouth and eyes shut for a while until I build me resources back up... :)
