FFM Thanks + Pic Request

Now that I have made it through another FFM, I want to take this chance to thank everyone who helped me out to make it work. This year we actually made an attempt to count the number of people who came, and even though we stopped counting about 2/3 of the way through, have a decent guess. We are conservatively estimating 500 people attended the Frag Farmer's this year! That is completely AWESOME and I was pretty psyched to hear that number. I am sure I will be forgetting someone in here so if you helped out and I forget you, sorry!
-Thanks to all my students who helped me get things ready the day before, even though they did not have school, and the whole day. Without them, the whole thing could not have happened. They were AWESOME this year!
-Thanks to all my boys who stuck around afterwards and helped me get all the rooms back in order so my colleagues at work will only be mildly annoyed when I come and tell them I am doing it again next year. Jas, Cato, Toni's daughter and whoever else might have moved a table or chair- thanks! Thanks to SassAwrasse and hubs for acting as human carts for people in the morning.
-Thanks to all the vendors who came out to sell. The FFM gets bigger each year because of all the awesome corals that people bring to sell. I am always amazed at the stuff I see each year and the prices are the best you will ever see anywhere.
-Thanks to all the companies and people who threw stuff into the raffle. The raffle was a huge success and we had a really cute raffle puller this year which made it even better. Congrats to all the winners and if you were not there to win I'll get in touch with you sometime this week to get the stuff to you.
-Thanks to Joe at PC for helping out with quite a few things leading up to the FFM and for checking to see if I was still alive every few days as it got closer. Thanks to Rob for walking away :) and thanks to Ron for helping to get Joe and Ron out faster.

Who am I forgetting...? There must be someone... So many people, I always forget someone... Oh well, I'll think of it later.

So, I know a number of people took pictures of things during the FFM. Rich Hogan sent me a bunch of pictures and one of the girls who was helping me out did as well. If you have shots from the event, corals, people, crowds, set-ups, whatever, I'd love to have the files so I can create a FFM 2013 page on the project website. Shoot me a PM or email them to me!

Okay, I really owe one person a HUGE thank you, and maybe even an apology. Brian, you are the man and sold a TON of raffle tickets. With Argi missing, you more than filled his shoes and were a help with the raffle in selling tickets. Even with the Yankees jersey on you were able to get the Boston people to buy into the raffle! I even think Tom P. might have bought a ticket or two (that dude likes Rod's food!). Thank you big man, you did a GREAT job.

Oh and by the way...

I have plans for how to make it even better next year, details to come...
See you next year!

Jon, I didn't get to meet you, but thanks so much for organizing the event and thanks to your students and colleagues for hosting us in their space. We had a great time. Tyler

those clams are huge . I need to get working on my fowl tank again so I can get more stuff. really limited in my seahorse tank.

they were like 6 inches across. absolutely stunning colors. i want one but its not time for that yet. maybe next year :) the small ones were awesome as well.

Just a word of caution on the calms, the large Tahitian Maximas seem to have a very poor survival rate in captaivity. I bought one at CMAC at it was wesome for 5 months then suddenly closed up and died. I posted on here about it and everyone else who bought them at CMAC lost them as well. I then did a bunch of research and this seems pretty common. Not sure why, I really do like them but wish I knew that before I bought it so thought I would pass it along.
