fighting conch/burrowing conch

I was thinking nassarius.....and now I'm thinking 1 conch instead. But I emply a DSB in my tank and all the critters that come along with it. Would a conch be nice and just clean up the sand bed ala nassarius? Or would it strip my sand bed of all its beneficial life?

They're algae and detritus eaters. Won't bother the pods, except insofar as they compete for food. They're good citizens, sometimes above ground for weeks, sometimes below.

I got 6-9 conchs in my 100gal and fuge... most of the time above sand.. and besides Nassarius are more scavengers than algae and detrius eater which conchs are... nassarius will though turn over your sand more than conchs since they burry in the sand more often....
