Fiji Regal Angel on DD

Hello just curious the Fiji RA looks very nice but it does not seem to have the yellow bottom the indian ocean have. What do you all think of the Fiji Regal compared to the indian ocean type?

It's a lovely grey chested specimen.

If I were getting something with a reputation of being difficult, like a regal angel, I'd be willing to take either the grey or yellow belly variety from DD. I'd shy away from getting fish collected from Indonesia, Phillipines, or the like. Red Sea, Coral Sea, Aussie, Marshall Islands, Hawaii, and I believe Vanuatu are top notch places to acquire fish from if at all possible.

My med-large redsea male took two weeks to finally eat, my juvenile took one day before it ate like a pig and still does. There is a thread on here about Regal Angels. If you get it remember to QT.

Regal will likely eat all your Zooanthids though.

Regal will defenetly eat all of your Zoanthides! Thats for sure.. Like my IM did :O

Not all eat zoanthids. Just like people all fish are individuals. I have one right now in a rull reef that will not eat anything but NLS pellets. She wont hardly touch mysis.
I have three different regal angels over the years and I was very fortunate to never have issue with coral munching.

Not the nicest of Regal specimens, especially for the price tag. That might be the reason it is still sitting on DD for its 3rd day. If they were asking $149-$199 for it, I think it would have been gone.
